Active and purposeful spirit-building is an important lifestyle practice. Knowing our own spirit, what makes us happy, what makes us sad, what makes us feel confident, what makes us fearful or insecure, what brings us peace, what creates conflict and stresses, is a good place to start.
Then, knowing what feeds our positive experiences and what takes away from them and feed our negative experiences, is also important. In this way, we can control, design, and engineer our own experiences to maximize our happiness.
We can then examine our lives, our behaviors, our emotions, our habits, our relationships, our investments, our beliefs, and our priorities, to see how well they align with the experiences we know make us happy. Finding what makes us happy and learning how to manage our lives to maximize happiness, is the key to spirit building.
